Wraqah is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We continually improve the user experience for everyone and apply relevant accessibility standards.
Wraqah works to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 level AA standard, which is the internationally recognized standard for digital accessibility, and aligns with Saudi Arabia's Communications, Space & Technology Commission (CST) guidelines.
WCAG Standards
The Wraqah platform is designed to meet the four main principles of WCAG 2.1:
Perceivable
Information and user interface components must be presentable to users in ways they can perceive.
Operable
User interface components and navigation must be operable by all users.
Understandable
Information and the operation of the user interface must be understandable.
Robust
Content must be robust enough to be reliably interpreted by a wide variety of user agents.
Typography & Contrast
Contrast Ratios
All primary text achieves a contrast ratio of at least 4.5:1 against its background, meeting WCAG 2.1 Level AA requirements.
Font Sizes
Minimum font size is 14px, with relative units (rem/em) used throughout to support browser text resizing.
Typefaces
We use legible typefaces such as Inter and Noto Kufi Arabic, optimized for readability in both English and Arabic.
Dark Mode
The platform provides full dark mode support to reduce visual strain in low-light environments.
